Toledo Bend Fishing Report

Mid Lake and South End

Water Temp.~ 66* to 75*

BASS ~ Exellent. Start with a Ribbit frog in watermelon red pearl belly around shore line vegitation as day warms switch to a texas rigged yamamoto weightless senko in watermelon/gold color or watermelon/purple color in 4' to 8' of water. if shallow bite dies move out to 10' to 18' of water and throw a crank bait in shad or bumble bee color. Remember to spray all your baits with Kick N Bass.

BREAM ~ Good. On worms and Berkly Power Maggots. Starting to move up into shallow water. Will not be long before spawn starts.

CRAPPIE ~ Exellent. In 10' to 18' of water on shinners and 1/16 oz. blue and white or black chartreuse colored jigs.

CATFISH ~ Good. In 6' to 12' of water on Catfish Charlie and liver around shallow flats towards the mouths of creeks on liver.

WHITE BASS ~ Good. On the north end of lake slong old river on points. on Rinky Dinks and 1/4 oz rattle traps.
